She is currently completing the Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity with the National Centre for Eating Disorders and does regular “pro-bono” work for the Eating Disorders charity “Free Me”.  I am a qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapist based in London. I trained as a psychologist in Spain, and further specialised in the UK in clinical psychology, addictions and eating disorders.

I have experience working in the public sector (NHS), as well as more than ten years in the private sector, during which I have worked in two of the leading private mental health hospitals in London. Furthermore, I have experience working with children and adolescents, applying short-term cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), as well as facilitating group and couples therapy.

Moreover, my training as a psychologist allows me to draw on a wide range of psychological theories in conjunction with the therapeutic approach, which is of particular interest when working with dual diagnosis (people who experience a mental health condition and a substance abuse problem simultaneously).

In addition to my clinical work,  I have held positions in senior management at various private healthcare organisations, where I was responsible for the leadership, development and operational management of therapy services. I currently hold the position of Clinical Director at a private outpatient clinic in London.

I am registered with the BPS (British Psychological Association), the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), and I am a member of the Spanish professional association of psychologists (COP Madrid).

My practice complies with the ethical and professional guidelines of the BACP, and I have full DBS (CRB) Certification, professional indemnity insurance and regular clinical supervision.
